Forums on Proposed Transfer of Governor's Office of Elderly Affairs to LDH

The Louisiana Department of Health is holding a series of statewide, regional forums to discuss the proposed transfer of functions in the Governor's Office of Elderly Affairs to the LDH Office of Aging and Adult Services.

At these forums, LDH Deputy Secretary Kathy Kliebert will give an overview of the proposal, clear up common misunderstandings about what a transfer would mean and engage in an open dialogue with advocates and stakeholders.
