Welcome to Region 3 of the Louisiana Department of Health Office of Public Health

The LDH Office of Public Health Region 3 serves the residents of the river and bayou parishes of southeast Louisiana: Assumption, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John, St. Mary, and Terrebonne parishes.

Working with our local and parish partners, we provide a wide range of healthcare services at our parish health units and through various outreach programs.

Services Offered

Immunizations for adults and children

• Includes COVID-19, flu, mpox, and HPV

Birth control

• Includes IUDs and Nexplanon (insertion and removal)

Women’s wellness exams

• Includes Pap smears and mammogram referrals

Pregnancy testing

STI testing and treatment, including:

• Same-day testing and treatment on site
• Partner testing and treatment

WIC supplemental nutrition services
