The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is assisting the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) in its assessment and evaluation of a chemical leak that occurred at Imperial Cleaners, a now-closed dry cleaning site in downtown Minden, located in Webster Parish.

Over 11,000 Louisiana residents have accessed hepatitis C life-saving medication
The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) has reached a historic milestone on the path toward ending the hepatitis C (HCV) epidemic. Thanks to Louisiana's modified pharmaceutical subscription model, more than 11,100 Louisianans have been able to access a life-saving medication that can cure HCV in just 8 to 12 weeks.

RFP: La Commission for the Deaf - Support Service Provider (SSP) Program
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain competitive proposals from qualified proposers who are interested in coordinating Support Service Provider (SSP) services statewide for DeafBlind consumers for the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf (LCD). A Contract is necessary to inform DeafBlind individuals in Louisiana of the SSP services available, coordinate the provision of high-quality services through Support Service Providers trained to work one-on-one with DeafBlind individuals and inform the continued development and improvement of the SSP program in collaboration with LCD.
