Beginning Monday, November 9, the Calcasieu Parish Health Unit is adjusting the times it offers mobile testing for COVID-19, flu shots and vaccines for hepatitis A, hepatitis B and tetanus. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday until further notice.
Continues the provisions of the December 3, 2016 Emergency Rule which amended the provisions governing outpatient abortion clinics in order to comply with the provisions of Acts 97, 563 and 593 of the 2016 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature which increased the time period for pre-operative services, mandated the distribution of printed information about services for pregnant women, and established provisions for the disposal of fetal remains.
The Louisiana Department of Health, Bureau of Health Services Financing has submitted Final Rules to the Office of the State Register for publication in the November 20, 2020 edition of the Louisiana Register in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:950 et seq.
Amends the provisions governing laboratory and radiology services in order to ensure that the existing language reflects current practices, remove coding and billing instructions and other extraneous information from the administrative Rule, and promulgate these provisions clearly and accurately in the Louisiana Administrative Code.
