September 16, 2025 Fee-for-Service ClaimsXten (CXT) Processing Issue – Sept. 9, 2025, Cycle

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Sep 16, 2025 - During the claims cycle dated September 9, 2025, Gainwell Technologies identified a system error that prevented certain fee-for-service professional, outpatient hospital, and durable medical equipment (DME) claims from processing through the ClaimsXten (CXT) editing system. These claims will pay without standard or National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) editing being applied.

Once Gainwell Technologies has identified and resolved the issue, the claims will be recycled with the editing mentioned above applied, which could result in claim payments being adjusted or voided.  

Gainwell Technologies has assured Louisiana Medicaid that they are actively working with vendors to identify the root cause and implement a resolution.
