- The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) will hold its first LDH Annual Shareholder Meeting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, offering Louisiana residents a transparent, accessible overview of the Department’s progress and priorities.

LDH serves a diverse group of shareholders, including every resident of the state. From patients and providers to businesses and legislators, each partner plays a vital role in strengthening Louisiana’s healthcare landscape and improving the collective well-being of our communities.

This meeting will give shareholders the opportunity to hear directly from Department leadership and agency heads about the work completed in 2025, lessons learned, and goals for the year ahead.

“Every Louisiana resident has a stake in the work of this Department,” said LDH Secretary Bruce D. Greenstein. “This meeting is about accountability and trust. It’s a chance for the people we serve to see what we’ve achieved together and where we’re going next.”

Modeled after the format of the Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholder meeting, LDH’s event will feature report-outs from each of the Department’s major agencies, including:

Each agency will highlight its key accomplishments from 2025, provide a financial and performance overview, and share measurable goals for 2026.

The LDH Annual Shareholder Meeting will be broadcast live statewide on LDH’s YouTube channel, ensuring that every resident can watch and participate.
